I have Mike Custards remote latches on both my Oil Door and my Baggage Door and love them. I have looked and looked at my pictures and can't find them in the hundreds that I have of my airplane, so sorry for now. I do know that Aaron Brook, who works with Mike, has redesigned the sliding latch and reduced it's size. He has a new extrusion being built and he intends to package a Remote Latch Kit and offer it for sale. These are much nicer than mine even though I have never had a problem with mine. Also, Mike Custard is having a New Website designed and hopes to have it on line in a couple of weeks. It will have a new name and more neat things to buy. If he doesn't let you all know about it I will. The main benefit of this latch is the doors are left smooth on the outside and all the latching is inside and requires only to be pushed closed. (Dam those finger prints.) The unlatching is done by pulling on a cable inside the cowl inlet, for the Oil Door, and in my case a push button in the door jam, for the baggage door, and accessible only when the main door is opened, so it is locked when the main door is closed and or locked.
