I am about to order more drill bits and I need advice. ... David Lowry Dave, We bought some solid carbide drills (not burrs) from McMaster Carr that work very well with carbon. These are expensive little buggers and are extremely brittle. If you bind or try to bend one it shatters instantly--the end result for all six #40's we bought. The #30 and larger ones seem to be strong enough to withstand a small amount of abuse--we actually have a couple of these left from the original six. I think McMaster calls them "PC board drills."
