The LED's however, have a long life unless you hit them with a high voltage, they are seldom the cause of the problem In one case, my problem was in the minature connector at the led indicator. In the second case, the problem was in the trim servo with a micro-switch. The led indicators are easy to check as you can test them with a 9-volt battery. Working with those tiny wires and minature connectors can be a real bear of a problem.
