The Informal Plastic Planes Fly-In (TIPPFI)

    _________________________________________________________________

_Who_: [1]Cirrus and [2]Lancair aircraft and their families. We are
more similar than different, so we should get together.

_What_: Lunch at [3]Hornblower's Barge & Grill (216-363-1151) followed
  by your choice of touring...
  the [4]Harborfest and the [5]Tall-Ships
  the [6]USS COD
  the [7]International Women's Air & Space Museum
  the [8]William G Mather
  the [9]Science Center
the [10]Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
  and the city of [11]Cleveland...

_Where_: Cleveland's pretty airport, Burke Lakefront Airport, [12]BKL,
and the Cleveland harbor. Meet in the terminal at the International
Women's Air & Space Museum displays. At noon we will walk off for
Lunch at Hornblower's Barge & Grill.

_When_: 11:00 AM Saturday July 12th (rain-date Sunday July 13th).
This fly-in is a go only if the weather is MVFR or better. Check this
web page before departure for any last-minute updates.

_Why_: For the fun of it :-)  The Cleveland Harborfest provides a
better than usual excuse for a fly-in. Come to KBKL overflying the
Tall Ships (and even tour them), get together for lunch at
Hornblowers, within walking distance of the ramp. Take advantage of
the walking proximity of the USS COD, William G Mather, Science
Center, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and downtown Cleveland.

The only down side is BKL's $5.00 parking fee, it's a city thing :-(

If you want to make a night of it, try the [13]Holiday Inn Select City
Centre Lakeshore, just a short walk from everything.

_RSVP_: Please send e-mail to [14]Rob stating how many will be joining
us for lunch. More info: http://rob.com/bkl/
