Normal behavior has been that after the plane has sat for = awhile (more than a few hours) since the last time the gear system was = pressurized, the gear pump would issue a quick burp to repressurize the = system when one turned on the battery. My impression is this is typical = on LNC2s. Lately the pump is running noticeably longer (more like a = second and a half or so). Also, upon retracting the gear after = take-off, the pump will continue running for 6-8 seconds after the gear = seems to be up (based on airstream noise, I don't have up lights). = Previously it would turn off concurrently with the cessation of = airstream noise. It does not do the occasional burp thing in flight = that some of you have written about (at least not within a one hour = flight). There are no apparent leaks and I checked the dump valve = firmly closed. I checked the pump reservoir and it is only slightly = below full (3/16"). Any suggestions for trouble-shooting?
