I was just told by a DAR, that I had to have a data plate for my engine. I've been told that he is incorect....I'm using an IO-360-EXP serial #L-8780-36A. This is what my engine log book says, which I got with the engine. Engine came from Performance Aero Engines. I think the DAR is full of it, but I can't tell him that .....What do you think??
