You may recall our conversation several summers ago at OSH. I was standing there generally admiring your red paint job and the fancy decal on the tail and I asked you about what I thought was an unusual shape to the leading edge of your wings. As I recall, you explained to me in great detail that you had incorporated a different and thinner NACA airfoil design on the wing leading edge and back to about 11" in an effort to further reduce drag. Seems like your effort has paid off nicely. In the interest of promoting the concept of full disclosure, I thought it best to bring this little detail to the attention of your racing competition. If anyone else has knowledge of as yet undisclosed speed mods on Larry's plane, I urge you to bring them to our attention. Angier Ames N4ZQ
