I met with Dave Morse today and looked at his beutiful new Legacy.  I think I will be able to work with him on his plane to try and get some weight out and definately some of the sound out.  Already have a lot of ideas, now to try and keep it all really light.  Some of the stuff we'll try is in the neighbor hood of .05- .15 pounds/sq. ft. so that's not too much weight.  We'll compare that to what massive barriers. The packages I,ve designed vary between pure barriers to pure absorbers with several in betwen.  All will reduce the noise some but how much they reduce them and at what cost in weight is the other.  I suspect we can get many dB out. We'll let you know on line later.
