I assume you're talking about the nose gear door. I couldn't make it work
without flox. Put release tape over the hinge and cleco it in place (3
clecoes) over the wet flox. Remove the clecoes in the green cure state.
Works great.
By the way, Orin says to build the nose gear door out of 0.080 inch aluminum,
since a composite door will ultimately warp. This is what I did.
For the main gear doors, I didn't have to do this -- the curvature is not
great.
