You will probably have to decontaminate it from the machining fluid used, but the cost would be hopefully lower. You may also wish to inquire about the availability of the "tungsten blanks" that have been discarded due to some dimensional shortfall. Try the "Harken" company in Pewaukee Wisconsin 1-414-691-3320. They manufacture a line of tungsten racing yacht fittings, are generally friendly people and used to dealing with custom projects.
