At the end of an always enjoyable flight last Saturday in 233L, I experienced an unexpected and highly stressful event.  As I entered the pattern at my home airport (PSX), began to set up for my approach, selected the landing gear down position, to my amazement nothing happened.  I checked circuit breakers and re-selected gear down.  Again, nothing happened.  After collecting my thoughts, mostly about the destruction of a beautiful aircraft during a gear up landing, I began the emergency procedure.  Immediately upon opening the dump valve, the hydraulic pump came on.  I closed the dump valve and soon had three green lights.  The rest of the approach and landing was routine.

My question to the group is.............does this suggest a problem with a pressure sensor and are there any other possible explanations for what happened?  My landing gear circuit was upgraded during construction and includes:  Bosch relays, full bridge wave, circuit breaker in the signal power to the main power relay.  The aircraft has 40+ hours since new with absolutely flawless performance until now.
