Hi Jim,
The AMP CPC 63 pin connector on your firewall looks neat.

The sockets #205090-1 and pins #205089-1 require a special AMP crimping tool
#201966-1 and "positioner" #201966-5 totaling about $440.00. Did you just
happen to have one of these tools lying around?

They also have pins and sockets (66569-3 and 66570-3)for this connector which
are soldered not crimped. Did you consider using them?

How did you decide to secure your connector to the firewall?
From your picture in LNN, it looks like you have some sort of strain relief
device in the cable clamp. Is this also an AMP part and did you use it on both
sides of the firewall?
