To all,
    While Brent has heartily endorsed Lancair Avionics, I must submit that
at least one other shop is worthy of consideration. (This is NOT to be
construed as saying anything bad about Kirk Hammersmith's operation. I was
there recently, and their work is excellent.) Aerotronics
(www.aerotronics.com) in Billings, MT does superb work as well. They built
my panel, including SFS, and have been wonderful in supporting the work of
installation. After the sale, they have sent small parts, spent time on the
phone dealing with potential difficulties, etc, with never a thought of an
additional charge. Most of you have seen the pic of my panel. It's
beautiful.
    BTW, Kirk agrees that Aerotronics does quality work. He declined to say
that about any other shop outside Lancair.
