It was built in 1943 for the Army Air Corp long before there were any TSO regulations. It was built by a REAL instrument maker; C.G. Conn in Elkhart, Indiana as part of the war effort. Still works very well 60 years later. It was the original equipment Altimeter in by 1948 Bellanca and is certified for use with my encoding altimeter.
