A few builders here in Italy are working on getting certification, and we have at least have obtained a willingness on the part of the Italian civil aviation authority to consider it. I remember reading about a similar problem in Canada a few months ago, but can't recall where. In any case, I understood that the problem had been solved there. If anyone is flying IFR with Canadian registry or knows of someone who is, I would appreciate either information on the "FAR" or other regulation under which the certification was issued, or, in the second case, a contact address.
