Many builders were changing that and putting fuel behind the spar all the way out to the bell crank and also extending the tanks by moving the bellcrank location outwards a couple inches. [ they weren't putting any fuel in front of the spar.] this increased the fuel tankerage [if that's a word]. 3: The original flap fairing was at the 0deg. location however in subsequent models they decided to make it fair w/ the flaps at 7 deg. reflex as this improved drag qualities. The difference in the flaps between the 235 and the 320 is that the 235 was designed w/ a top skin hinged flap system verses the 'newer and improved' 320 style which had the flaps hinged off the bottom skin. This to is where the difference of flap movement comes from. The 235 and the original 320 tail are EXACTLY the same. The only improvement that was made from the 235 to the 320 was a second spar, forward of the standard rear one. If 235 builders make this change up during construction they have in essence a 320 tail [ however its still not a MKII] 4: As to gross weight considerations, that is one question I'd like an answer to as well.
