Any ideas or suggestions.???
Pine, I used the adjustable rudder pedal option on my 320. I found that
the straightest line from the rudder arm to the pedal came well above
the fillet on the load transfer pad. The standard rudder pedals may be
different, I don't know. My advice is not to drill the hole in the
fillet until you have installed your rudder pedals. There is no
advantage to drilling this hole before you route your cable. Also I
placed my NACA duct so that the cable ran just above the vent. That
makes the cable as out of the way as you can have it. I also installed
turnbuckles just aft of the pedals so as to make the pedals removable. I
believe that routing the cables through a slot in the closeout rib would
put more bend in the sheath than is necessary. I think that the best run
is the straightest run. Just my 2 cents worth.
Mike Sawicki gave us the new designators for the lancairs. Thanks Mike.
It must be a formatting problem but my copy of the designators came out
so that I couldn't tell which designator went with which airplane. Would
it be possible to resend it? Or maybe just let me know what the
designator for the 320 is. Thanks.
