Yes, I found it hard to believe, I verified and calibrated my gauge. The cooler is mounted as low as possible, behind the cylinder in the left corner of the baffling. No hoses or ducts, just the cooler mounted vertically. This is Van's stock baffle kit location, apparently very efficient since I block off 2/3 of the cooler when daily temps are below 50 degrees F..
