What should we use to lubricate bearings?  By these, I mean the spherical bearings used in my LNC2 elevators, but the question applies to rod end bearings as well.

I first noticed a problem with excessive friction when trying to balance my elevators.  There was too much friction to accurately determine the counterweight required.  I loosened them up with TriFlow, which is like WD-40 plus teflon, but this oil seems too light to fly with.

What should we be using?
