For those of you waiting on the airbox for the IO-550 (Legacy & ES), I spoke
to Carsten yesterday and he gave me the following information:
"The air intake system (for the IO-550) has been finalized and we are
satisfied with the operation. "  (1.5 inches of boost at 10,000 ft. in ram
air position)  "We have ordered the first production run and we are
expecting this in 6 weeks."  No mention of the price.  This is a filtered
intake system with alternate ram air.  The timing is just right for me
assuming its on schedule.
