  You can lay up fiberglass cloth impregnated with silicon to make flexible
form fitted seals. I use the GE 50 year 100% silicon thinned to the
consistency of 90 wt gear oil with lacquer thinner. stiffness varies with
# of plys, two would probably be right for the oil door, good to 400 deg
F, cures overnight. Be generous with the solution as it leans out when the
solvent flashes off. Good luck, see you at Reno.

I'm am trying to silicon some silicon baffling to my oil door for the
Reno races.  I have to seal off the door so no ADI fluid gets out and
sprays onto the windshield.  Anyone know what silicon adhesive I should
use?
