Angier -

There are a tremendous number of LNC2's out there with the starboard rudder
cable "blister" lower than the portside one (or is it the other way around).
I'd guess about half of them.  However, it took me about 6 years of walking
around my own kit before I noticed -- and it sounds like it took you about
the same amount of time.

I can amuse myself at airshows by squatting down behind each LNC2 and seeing
which ones are still asymmetric and which ones are not.  I then speculate on
each builder's motivation -- did they want to build a prize winning showplane
or did they just want to fly?  I could further amuse myself by asking each
builder how many hours they spent sanding and correlating the results, but
the builders are not usually around when I do this.

As you can tell, sometimes I'm very easily amused.....

It's actually very hard to tell that the cable outlets are not level with
each other -- you actually have to scrunch down behind the airplane to tell.
Nobody else notices unless I point it out to them.  As for my airplane, I did
not correct this and one rudder cable is lower than the other.  I'll still be
proud of my plane when it is done.

Besides, your workmanship is so impeccable (it really is -- I'm not sucking
up to Angier, I promise!)  that if anyone comments negatively on this minor
aspect of your airplane, you have my permission to cut them out of your
will....
