We have all seen articles and heard stories
of Darus Zehrback and he notorious "run-in" with the law..... I, for one,
do not have all the facts in the case however the information I do have suggests
the case has little or no reflection on his products.
I have read the entire appellate court opinion on Darus's unsuccessful
appeal of his first conviction in the early 90's for fraud and have read
many news accounts relating to his second trial and conviction earlier this
year. You are right, the issues in those cases were not about his ability
as an engineer or connected to his current venture. It was about the person's
basic integrity and his propensity to lie, cheat and defraud people. In
this country you are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Until
then you get the benefit of the doubt. However, after you are found guilty,
he allegations can be considered to be true; He is a proven liar and a cheat.
Darus Zehrback was found guilty, not once, but twice, of committing fraud
and lying. If you feel that that has no reflection on the claims he is
currently making, then I guess you must be the person they are talking about
in the saying: There is a sucker born every day.
