Dan, regardless of whatever type of epoxy or adhesive you use for assembly,
you're stuck with what is used by the manufacturer of the pre-preg that
Lancair uses to make the wing and fuselage skins. It is these large surfaces
that might be vulnerable to damaging temperature rise from dark finishes.
(Notice I said "might", not "will" - I''m not a materials wonk so can only
take the conservative approach - I painted mine white).
