Don has 25 dead stick landings and a recent test flight experience had him successfully dealing with the upper cowling coming off and taking pieces of the empennage with it. I have over 400 hrs in my 320 and, if I ever finish the Legacy before becoming feeble, I still would use a real "test pilot" for the first few flights. Their experience and cool detachment raises the probability of a good outcome. They have no emotional attachment to the plane as the builder would have himself.
