If everybody builder followed this logic, Lancair would have sold...hmmmm, 5 airplanes.... My advice: 1. Don't listen to Jim. 2. Builders getting close to flying their dream airplanes should assess their talents and experince. If, even in the slightest, you feel uncomfortable in flying your aircraft for the first time, call Lancair and let them do the initial flights.
