It is a wonderful color!! (www.igf.info) The German LBA (FAA) told that they would NOT certify the plane in that color. They mentioned that a composite plane has to be white, white or white ... BUT ... We found an airbus engineer who has made extensive testing with prepreg etc. painted red. These test results are showing that the ferrari red color is no problem at all. His lancair is now certified, our will in a few weeks.
