Thank you. I never thought about the carb ice problem. It could prove to be a problem here in the norhwestern U.S. The savings advantage to
eliminate carb ice, could well be worth the added expense.

Dear Curtis, The MAIN advantage of fuel injection in Aircraft is the non-ICING problem. Here in New Zealand where the weather is changeable the fact that having a fuel injected engine removes one MAJOR worry. Given a choice, I would thoroughly recommend you go for the injected engine every time.
