To Larry Henney, regarding the SS hinge wires with a Teflon tube slipped
over it.

Check the LML archives on this subject - the name of the outfit that
supplies all that you need as a kit is in there somewhere (I just can't
remember the name of the guy - age, I guess).

I have installed said hinge pins on all but one hinge (that doesn't seem to
be wearing out) and have not seen further loosening. Neat stuff.
