We decided to buy the plane but had to hold off untill I finished the complete rebuilding of my 37' all carbon racing sailboat, (I have a complete composite workshop in my back yard). That is coming to an end so when I called to order the ES, they told me the price had almost doubled and the standard kit I wanted was no longer offered! So I had set my sights on the kit and with money in hand, was told they wouldn't take my money, nor would they build a standard kit for me. So I am looking for a kit for sale, the less complete the better, because I WANT to build the plane. And because I have 34 years of composite building experience, (including many racing yachts, a few planes and even some America's Cup yachts) I am extremely particular about the workmanship and materials in the kits. Do you know of anyone trying to sell a kit? I really had my heart set on the Lancair ES but if I can't get the Lancair, I'll have to go for the Express. Thanks!
