Hi Frank,
I received your submission for your L-360 project for sale and have a few
questions. I see that you list the project as 95% completed... I assume
that includes airframe only and no systems?
you can see the plane at http://userweb.interactive.net/~frankm/
Correct, the plane flew flawlessly for 40 hours until I gave up flying. The
engine and instruments were removed and sold.
Are there any options which
you incorporated into the kit,
Forward hinge canopy, dinafocal mount, modified air inlet for better
performance
do you have any instruments or radios, prop,
etc., is there an instrument panel at all,
they were removed
is there any interior work done,
There was a complete padded interior, but it has also been removed.
antennas installed, any finishing work done or prep work at least (ie,
micro applied to the exterior,) is it in primer, or anything else that
might be worth mentioning?
Put and engine and instruments in it hang the wings on do some minor things
and fly it. It has been painted see the photo
A project at 95% completion will have most of
these items... if it's only an airframe and none of the systems are
installed or finishing work done, it would be more reasonable to advertise
the project as 60-70% completed at best.
That's fine if you want to say 60-70% how long does it take to install
instruments and an engine?? for some people it can take a lifetime for me it
took 45 days. and that's only because I couldn't find someone to do it for me.
[Note: I don't know exactly what percentage of completion one might come up
with, but Frank's description should give you a good idea. He originally
suggested 95%... <M>]
The Official Lancair Online Builders' List isn't really a classified ad
service, but I'll be happy to list your project anyway and hope that you
find a buyer for it. I will need your last name, though, in order to
locate your project on the proper page. Thanks.....
I appreciate your listing the plane. You can leave the price out or indicate
that it is available instead of sale so that you don't create a president??
Whatever you decide is appreciated. Happy thanksgiving now eat some
turkeyhaha.
