Worth listening to, as always. I haven't yet been in a situation where I had to choose between saving myself or saving the airplane. Hopefully, my judgement is such that I never will have to make that choice. However, when a prop strike or a gear-up landing will cost me close to $40K, I think I'll buy the insurance.
