It operates off the manifold and compressor discharge pressure of the engine to produce a regulated vacuum under almost all engine operating conditions. The advantage of this system is that it is lighter and more reliable than the alternatives - reliable enough with only one moving part that there should be no need for a vacuum back-up. And it will work well with a pressurized cabin. I'm looking for a "beta test site" until I get mine built. Any IV/IVP (or turbo anything) operators out there that would like to work with me on this? I'll supply all the hardware and you tell me how well it works.
