I enjoyed "tom" <toms1@chartermi.net>'s recent analysis of TKS vs boots vs
ThermalWing. I look forward to following his decision, as I have quite a
few months remaining on my IVP.
His comments made me wonder about the certification "for known icing"
available to some properly equiped aircraft. Who would certified an
experimental aircraft "for known icing" after installing of a commercially
available deice system? The builder & owner? Perhaps someone has some
information on this process.
