In contrast to Lance's observation that "....the internet displays one of it's weaknesses - nobody is required to know the facts before posting", his reply highlights one of it's strengths -- to quickly out the truth, thereby defeating lingering rumor, uncertainty and doubt.

Even more importantly, it demonstrates the OSS (now CIA) technique of utilizing dis-information to get ANY information, relying on an inherent human characteristic of the need to correct any mis-statement made by others.

Try this technique at home.  For example:

"Dear, I see from the shape of the box that you got me a grease gun for Christmas," I said. "Oh no dear, I got you a Garmin 430 for the panel," She said.

Or, .......was it the other way around?
