Look...I gotta tell you all.  If you're going to have some kind of elite
requirements for some elite association....then you can count me out.  For
those of us who haven't been socio-economically fortunate enough to fly our
asses off and only have a few hours....and are fortunate enough to be able
to finally afford our dream, what do we do?  Sit around and wish we were
like you elite high time folks so we can feel like we are part of the 'in'
Lancair crowd?  If that's the case....I'd just as soon not even associate
with any of you that feel that way.  I'll fly my machine and see you all
around!

If you have an instructor checking you out in a machine......what difference
does time make?  If the instructor is confident in your ability and you are
participating in a proficiency program....who cares how many hours you
have???????

Sounds quite logical to me that we should have a
similar formula for our insurance-association since
flying a small cessna for 1500 hrs. is not going to be
of much help in mastering any of the Lancair models.
