Open letter to Bob Jude

You that ask me about insurance last summer. (I am pretty sure it was you).
At the time I replied something to the effect that "my insurance is with
AIG, and I am pleased but then I have never had a claim".  I also said that
I was not pleased with my agent.

Things have changed.
This time I used the AOPA insurance program as the agent, and still ended up
with AIG insurance.  With days I sucked a rock into my wood prop and totaled
it.

I have nothing but good to report on the way the claim was handled by AOPA
and AIG.

The AIG claims representative was particularly professional and courteous.
They did want copies of (almost) everything short of my birth certificate,
but I never had the feeling that they were searching for some reason to deny
the claim.  Just part of the process.

I highly recomend AOPA & AIG.
