At OSH and in the Lancair booth, a company was displaying an electrical deice system which is thin, light, about half the cost of weeping wing and does not add the weight penalty. You must add backup alt. It will work on ming and emp LE and prop. I'm sure that Lancair could give you the name.....I might be able to dig up from my OSH lit. if they can't.
