I put an outside switch on the hangar, and if the weather here in chilly Minnesota
is good, I ask the guys who drive the gas truck to swing by and turn it on long
enough to let the engine warm up. The switch is high enough that they don't have
to get out of the truck, and it takes all of 10 seconds to do. An occasional $20
also helps and is less maintenance than an elaborate radio system, and the goodwill
is hard to beat.
