We share common goals and the insurance companies look at us in similar ways...it makes sense to stick together. 2) The insurance rates I mentioned ($10K - $15K) were numbers I was quoted for a IVP with my flight time of 3,000 TT and $350 Hull coverage. Obviously the make of aircraft and hull value as well as pilot experience makes a ton of difference. High time pilots save big money so this is all a variable. I am NOT proposing a one price deal...just a way to work as a group to bargin for better rates overall. Individual rates to association members will still depend upon what amount of coverage they buy and their experience level. 3) On a side note, several engine mod firms and similar vendors have replied asking if they can be involved...offering discounts etc. Seems like Lancair owners represent a powerfully attractive lobby group. 4) There have been 25 replies so far and as I said we need 100 members to be viable. Please email the list or me directly if you are interested.
