This sounds like an all around good idea to me. The training and inspection will add an extra level of safety and probably save lives and airplane parts in addition to making insurance available and more affordable. The Bonanza and Mooney people have had training available thru their associations for years. An EAA Chapter buddy of mine teaches for the Mooney association. He indicated he would help put a course together if enough interest is shown.
