Hence, I was extremely sensitive about my seat support. I didn't do any changes to the basic shell. The advice I followed was to use Temperfoam! I used 3" under the seat. (hard, medium, & soft) and 2" behind the back (medium, and soft). Additionally, I slivered in a lumbar support of 1/2" thick by about 5 inches high between to back layers. Bottom line. Extreme comfort! The only downside is the ice cold mornings which take the first 1/2 hour or so to thaw and soften the cushions (lowering design eye position to it's proper level). I've got a lot left over and the stuff costs a fortune. It was worth it to me.
