I found some of them in the civilian salvage yards adjacent to the "bone yard" at Davis Monthan AFB, in Tucson last year. It has a short 1" pointed solid steel blade on the end of a heavy, round steel handle and is designed to punch into the canopy to break it. It comes with a mounting bracket. For its size it has a lot of mass. It worked in T-birds. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://members.olsusa.com/mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please remember that purchases from the Builders' Bookstore assist with the management of the LML.
