Regarding IV-P door window blow outs (they really should be called "shatter
outs"), they all will look like a crack started from one of the latch mount bolt
holes. That is where they shatter from.  My take on this situation is that if
the pilot window manages to shift in the door just a little, one of the bolts
will bind the Plexiglas (more than the others) and shatter the window.

When installing the door window:
Prep the bonding surfaces better than anything you have previously done.
Chamfer all corners and edges of the window.
Drill the "large" holes with a Plexiglas bit (or suitable modified bit).

I am wondering about the wisdom of filling the "large" holes with flox. I am
thinking that maybe a high quality silicone could be used. This would allow the
window to move a bit and not bind the Plexiglas. Hmmmm. Any thoughts on this?
