However, the overhauled (Don George in Florida, who has done a lot of Lancair engines) advised against deviating much from the design figures. The Sky Ranch Engineering Manual gives real insight and into how many different "fixes" there have been in aircraft engines over the years and an understanding that when you make changes there is the possibility of introducing new "problems."
