On my ES I plan to put small "bullet"-type landing lights in the wingtip to
shine through the standard transparent cover.  I bought a pair of automotive
lights from EMPI, Inc. That seem to be very bright and will fit well.  The
question is how to dissipate the heat.  They have 50 watt bulbs and that
will generate a fair amount of temperature.  I am tempted to build an
aluminum mounting bracket that will screw to their aluminum housing, but I'm
not sure how to attach that to the plastic wingtip.  Anyone with any ideas?
Should I be worried about the heat?
