What I envision for this group of owner pilots is not more controls on the

Most of the accidents in Lancairs are "pilot error". Flew into the ground 
doing a high speed flyby, ran off end of runway, etc. The only thing that 
will address these kinds of failures is training-- better training. 

I believe we can put together a program of training that offers owner-pilots 
an intensive course of ground and flight instruction on Lancair sytems, 
aircraft operation, high performance aircraft transistion high altitude 
operation taught by experienced instructors. 

Couple that with a close "once over" of your aircraft by a qualified DAR/A&P 
type and you have a service that the American Bonanza Society has been 
offering for years. We might even generate some interest in the insurance
