Long ago, when I used to do body work on cars, I employed a technique where I would apply & edit filers until I got them as best as I could, and then apply a quick shot of cheap sandable primer. The primer let me see the how well I did by presenting the work in a uniform color and made any areas that needed additional work stand out. I would then repeat the process until I had a uniform surface. The question is: Does anyone know of cheap sandable primer that can be used in this capacity on a our ES project before we move onto the more expensive aircraft specific primers, fillers and paints? The goal is to avoid an extensive paint compatibility-testing endeavor on scrap material with expensive products. Thoughts anyone? And as always, thanks in advance for your support.
