Imron provides one of the best looking finishes around - often referred to
as the "wet look". Unfortunately, if you're shooting it yourself, the stuff
is pretty deadly. There even are some communities that have banned it
altogether because of the neurological effects of the components in the
uncured paint.

Unless you have it shot by a professional, or you're going to paint it
yourself and you don't have access to a proper paint booth designed
specifically for these type of paints, forget it. Nothing like having a
beautiful finish on your new Lancair and losing your medical because of
permanent damage to your nervous system.

The catalyzed acrylic enamels, like Delthane, for instance, give a very
nice, tough and flexible finish with far lower health hazards for the
do-it-yourselfers.
