Guys -
Simple question that needs a quick answer.
My LNC2 (actually, a 320/360) manual states that the flaps should have a travel range from 5/8" TE up from faired in position at fuselage fillet, to full down. I am fitting the lower skin, which seems to want to have the outboard trailing edge level with the aileron-in-trail and the inboard edge approximately 5/8 inch up from the fillet. However, I'm now at the point where inducing a twist is easy.
I had though that the level-with-the-ailerons and simultaneously level-with-the-fillet position was the cruise position, embodying a -7 degree reflex. Now the manual seems to be saying that the cruise position is 5/8 inch UP at the inboard edge?
I have more digging though manuals and blueprints to do, but I wanted to fire this off in time for this evenings posting, so that I can install the flap spar tomorrow.
Thanks in advance.
